Ranoz Adventure Safaris

Welcome to Ranoz Adventure Safaris! By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully to ensure you understand your rights and obligations when booking a safari with us.


1. Booking and Payment Terms

  1. Booking Confirmation
    A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from Ranoz Adventure Safaris and the required deposit is received.
  2. Deposit
    A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your safari booking. The balance must be paid 30 days before the start of your trip.
  3. Full Payment
    For bookings made less than 30 days before the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  4. Payment Methods
    We accept payments via credit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal. Please note that any bank or transaction fees must be covered by the client.
  5. Late Payments
    If the balance is not paid by the due date, Ranoz Adventure Safaris reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

2. Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations by Clients
  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the start of the safari will receive a full refund, minus a small administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made between 59 and 30 days before the safari will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the safari start date are non-refundable.
  1. Cancellations by Ranoz Adventure Safaris
    Ranoz Adventure Safaris reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient group numbers. In such cases, we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund.
  2. Force Majeure
    We cannot accept liability for any loss, damage, or delay resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, natural disasters, pandemics, and government actions.

3. Amendments and Changes

  1. Changes by the Client
    If you wish to amend your booking after confirmation, please contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability, and any additional costs must be covered by the client.
  2. Changes by Ranoz Adventure Safaris
    While we make every effort to adhere to our itineraries, we reserve the right to make minor changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be informed of significant changes, and an alternative will be arranged where possible.

4. Safari Activities and Risks

  1. Wildlife Encounters
    While our guides prioritize safety, wildlife safaris inherently carry some risks. Ranoz Adventure Safaris is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage resulting from wildlife encounters.
  2. Physical Fitness
    Many safari activities, such as gorilla trekking or hiking, require a certain level of physical fitness. By booking, you acknowledge that you are physically able to participate in these activities and have consulted a medical professional if necessary.
  3. Responsibility and Liability
    Ranoz Adventure Safaris acts only as an agent for the clients in regard to travel arrangements, accommodation, and transport. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from activities conducted by third-party providers.

5. Travel Insurance

All clients must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellations, personal accidents, baggage, and repatriation. Proof of insurance may be required before the start of the safari.


6. Visas, Permits, and Health Requirements

  1. Visas and Permits
    It is the client’s responsibility to obtain and carry the appropriate travel documents, including visas and permits, for entry into Uganda or any other East African country. We can assist with guidance, but responsibility lies with the client.
  2. Health Requirements
    Certain vaccinations, including Yellow Fever, may be required before entry into Uganda. Clients should consult a travel health professional for the latest requirements. Clients are also responsible for any health risks associated with traveling to the region, including malaria prevention.

7. Client Conduct

Clients are expected to behave responsibly and respect local cultures, wildlife, and park regulations. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in termination of the safari without refund.


8. Intellectual Property

All materials, content, images, and logos used on the Ranoz Adventure Safaris website are the property of Ranoz Adventure Safaris. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is prohibited.


9. Complaints and Disputes

  1. Complaints
    If you have any concerns during your safari, please inform your guide or tour manager immediately, so we can address the issue as quickly as possible.
  2. Dispute Resolution
    Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in accordance with Ugandan law. In the event of a legal dispute, the matter will be settled in the courts of Uganda.
